Initsys is always pleased to undertake special projects.
Here are some of those completed in the last year.
For VSG security we assisted in the transfer and decoding of an alarm network for one of their
customers. This involved the creation of a completely new alarm handling system based on x.25.
VSG and its customer now have the ability to migrate systems from this old technology to IP over a
more convenient time period.

For a Middle East client we completed the deployment of a wireless network ready to install. The system is
designed so that military and civilian checkpoints can be rapidly deployed and be on a secure network within
minutes enabling remote operators to control ongoing situations.
This project involved the redesign of our video software and a series of new features like the number plate
recognition used to create rapid access stop and check points, vehicles can enter quickly and not be
vunerable from external attack whilst stopped.

Working with Microsoft we have developed a componentised version of our
iRecord IP camera image processing software. Using this manufacturers of EPOS
systems, Home Automation and other services requiring image processing can
easily implement video services and alarm verification.
The component comprises three elements, video processing, video storage and
playback and a front of house “easy use” viewing platform.
