SetBySMS
Verified Alarms directly connects to the Initsys SMS Gateway, both receive and transmit of text messages
are provided by the Gateway.
Systems connected to Verified Alarms are set up as “Sites”, each site has cameras, keyholders and if
required polling of connected devices.
When a simple text message from a mobile phone is received onto the Initsys network the arm condition of a
site will be changed. Sites can include the Initsys IAF network video recorder or simply IP cameras.
Camera
models such as the Panasonic BLC10 and BLC30 have a privacy feature which can also be enabled by a
simple text message.
Upon an alarm activation images are transmitted to the network where they are stored and an alert message
is transmitted to the key holders, this is sent directly to the users mobile phone in either SMS or MMS Picture
Message format, an email is also sent to each key holder notifying of the activation. |
Viewing of the images is conducted by logging onto
the relevant VerifiedAlarms server using the internet.
Once logged in to the server images can be searched
by camera and time & date and then viewed, printed,
and downloaded.
From the server the option to GoLive is available, this
connects directly to one or many cameras whilst
remaining within the Verified Alarms website. Pan, tilt
and zoom control is available for each camera.
The Site can be armed, disarmed or sent to privacy
mode from the server web page or WAP.
SetBySMS is ideal for residential and commercial
security and can be configured to provide video alarm
images to a professional monitoring station.
Professional monitoring can be connected on a
permanent or temporary basis.
