Remote Storage
Each site within the VerifiedAlarms network can have a combination of timed, alarm and motion detection
event images.
Movement Detection is a feature found on the majority of IP enabled cameras and video servers, using this
feature allows images to be transmitted to the VerifiedAlarms network on motion events only.
The secure off site video storage allows retrieval of high quality event images using the VerifiedAlarms web
interface. Dependent on the camera model up to 2 minutes of Pre-Alarm and 5 minutes of post alarm images
can be transmitted. The fast capture of IP cameras allow stills to be stored at up to 25 picture per second. |

Cameras may be polled to ensure there operational status and alert messages sent to key holders of
any problems.
The remote storage feature of VerifiedAlarms can be used for many applications such as Home
Security, Railway Crossing or Covert Observations.
All images are watermarked and are stored in the original size, the image above is displayed in
thumbnail size for quick search, 320 x 240 for display and the native 640x 480 image when viewed
individually.
VerifiedAlarms can also be provided with Number Plate Recognition, each image is analysed for a
number plate, the details are then recorded for viewing later. |
