The iDigital input output module is designed to enable the connection of external sensors and other switched
systems to IAF and iRecord systems.
Each IAF or iRecord combination can have up to four iDigital connected. They do not have to be local to the
IAF/iRecord and can be positioned anywhere on the network.
Each iDigital has 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs designed to switch and receive TTL level inputs.
Separate relay modules for switching outputs are available.
Example installation.
The above installation is using four
Panasonic BLC10 with their inbuilt sensors
to detect motion inside the protected
building.
Externally two Panasonic 331 cameras are
being used alongside two external passive
infra red detectors. The detectors are wired
to the digital inputs on the camera.
The IAF SQ is monitoring the state of the
sensors. The external cameras also have
motion detection enabled in IAF, both the
passive infra red and the IAF motion
detection have to activate at the same time
for an alarm to occur.
The system can be armed remotely through
the VerfiedAlarms network using SMS, or
web page. It can also be armed using the
local keypad.
The system complies with EN50136 and is
polled. Optionally a GPRS modem can be
connected to the IAF to provide a secondary
signaling path.
