Initsys IAF (Install And Forget) has established itself as a market leading network video recorder. IAF is
compatible with many IP cameras and video servers.
Completely tuneable settings enable IAF to meet the needs of any building requiring CCTV surveillance (with
remote monitoring if needed).
Choose and use cameras from a number of manufacturers giving you full flexibility over the type and
use of the camera.
IAF utilises the latest Windows Embedded Operating System and is pre-installed and licensed with Initsys
iRecord software. To ensure that IAF lives up to its Install And Forget name the IAF will send to the network
its operational status at a frequency set by the installer. It will tell the network the status of over 40
elements, such as hard disk status, camera status.....
IAF generated alarms are very reliable since they are generated by Initsys Dual Detection. IDD video motion
edge detection couples with real time sensor data to provide very accurate detection and alarm from up to
twenty zones in a camera scene. This can be either internal or external detection. This products is ideally
suited to scene management mega-pixel type cameras. IDD alarm information can be passed to the control
room so that other cameras can automatically pan, tilt, and zoom the area requiring attention. This makes
the tedious monitoring of CCTV screens unnecessary and the job of control room operators becomes easier
and more productive. It also means that less cameras needed to achieve he same result.
IAF communicates with the Verified Alarms network and can transmit in SIA protocol.
There are four types of IAF with Diskpaks of various sizes
The SQ model uses a VIA speed processor that is able to handle up to 6 cameras.
Available in wall mount and 19” rack mounted.
The MQ model uses a Pentium M processor with an advanced graphic
co-processing system and is typically capable of working with 16
cameras.
Available in wall mount and 19” rack mount formats.
The LQ model uses a Pentium D processor with dual screen capability,
available in desk top only.
The PQ is built to order to a specification agreed with you (a typical
configuration is shown in the table).
To help you choose the correct system for your installation we have developed an
application in which you enter the numbers of cameras and the size/frame rate and
it will suggest the system you should use.
